Katey's Cake: I'm currently a self taught cake maker with a degree in textiles and surface design. I have always known that I was creative but never found the field I wanted to go in to, until I started making cakes. I started making cakes as a hobby alongside my degree and my part time job, I’d take my cakes into uni and work. People kept telling me how irresistible they were. People then started asking me to make cakes for special occasions and started paying me... this is when I realised what I wanted to do. My main speciality is cupcakes, I enjoy baking and decorating the cupcakes and just giving them out and seeing people’s reactions to my cakes. I've started making birthday, christening, wedding cakes etc. I'll try anything once. My creative background helps me a lot while making cakes. I have always been good at thinking of innovative, unique designs. I hope you one day discover the taste of my cakes.
